PROCEDURES OF PICK UP & PAYMENTS ETC
DOCUMENTS:

STEP-1
Find out rates of your parcel from our web site www.pilotcourierltd.com OR by clicking "FIND COST" on the home page OR by calling us OR by sending an email. Once you like our price then proceed to step-2.


STEP-2
Book your order by clicking "Book My Order" on the home page.

STEP-3
1. We will prepare AWB(bar coded address label) as per addresses you provided us and email back to you.

2. Please print and paste one copy of the AWB on your envelope (use envelope of reasonable size and quality to avoid loss/damage OR ask us to provide you free of cost. We will send with the driver when he comes to pick up your express letter)

3. Let us know when you will be ready. After your "ready" call, we need minimum time bracket of one hour for express and three hours bracket for the economy service) for pick up. If so needed, cancel the shipment before dispatch of the driver otherwise full payment for the local, 1/2 for the domestic and 1/4 for the international shipment will be charged. Please DO NOT delay driver for more than 10 minutes, there after there is charge of $5 for each 15 minutes or its part.
NON-DOCUMENTS (PARCELS):

The procedure is the same as of documents. The only difference between a document and non- document shipment is COMMERCIAL INVOICE and PACKING LIST (Commercial Invoice contains addresses of sender & receiver, details of items being shipped, value, country of make and reason of export. The Packing List contains weight and dimensions of each box/carton/crate and number of pieces (books, shoes, bottels, cans etc. packed in each box/carton/crate etc.
Two copies of AWB and two copies of ‘Commercial Invoice’ and ‘Packing List’ are  filled, signed and sent with all the international shipments. In case of domestic non-document shipments only one copy of AWB, Commercial invoice and Packing List is needed (these forms can be collected from our office or down loaded from our web site for free. We strongly recommend to fill and email these form to us prior to pick up for the purpose of (1) Keeping our record (2) To help you correct the mistake(s) and avoid the delay.

 NOTE: Please weigh and measure the dimensions of your parcels/ boxes/ suitcases/ crates correctly. In case of difference the driver will go back with out pick up. $15 will be charged for rescheduling the pick up.

CHARGEABLE WEIGHT:

Higher of the actual weight or dimensional (volume) weight is charged in the courier & cargo industry. Dimensional (Volume) weight can be calculated as following;

TO GET ANSWER IN POUNDS (lb):

Height x Length x Width (in inches) divided by 138
Height x Length x Width (in centimeters) divided by 2277

TO GET ANSWER IN KILOGRAMS (kg):

Height x Length x Width (in inches) divided by 306.
Height x Length x Width (in centimeter) divided by 5000



PAYMENT IN CANADA:


DO NOT pay to the drivers. For safe and timely shipments pay in time as following:

1. In Canada You can pay cash in our office. OR

2. By transferring money to our TD Bank account. We will email you the details. OR

3. By depositing money to our TD Bank account that we will send you the details. OR

4. By E-money transfer. OR

5. By "Pay Pal". You don't need to have PayPal account for this purpose, we will email your bill and simple instructions of paying from your credit card. It is very simple. A nominal fee will apply to use this convenience.

PAYMENT IN USA:

DO NOT pay to the drivers. For safe and timely shipments pay in time as following:

1. In USA You can deposit or transfer funds to our business account in Capital One Bank we will provide you account details

2. By "Pay Pal". You don't need to have PayPal account for this purpose, we will email your bill and simple instructions of paying from your credit card. It is very simple. A nominal fee will apply to use this convenience. OR

3. You can also send the payment by Western Union and money order.

NOTE: We regret to undertake any responsibility of damage or loss of parcel(s) if payment(s) are not received in time. We suggest to pay ASAP after accepting our rates and then relax. OR pay immediately after receiving the AWB (bar coded address label that we email you) but before arrival of the driver for the pick up otherwise the track # will be cancelled and the shipment invalidated. A charge of $10 will apply for rescheduling the pick up driver.

NOTE: In case of any ambiguity or dispute the rules, regulations and procedures of actual service provider e.g. FedEx, UPS, DHL, TNT and respective air/ship line will apply.
